The CompuQuilter 5.07 Demonstration is available!
It will install CompuQuilter 5.07, a CQ Manual, DXF to CQ conversion program, and a few patterns that come with the system. This software will run on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.

THIS IS AN ONGOING PROJECT - so please contact me regardless of the age of this post!
You need to be very familiar with your system and the terminology associated with it. You should have a well-tuned sewing head that is not fussy about sewing in all directions. Beta testing a pattern means you get them free - including any improvements we make at your suggestion! Here is what is involves:
1. Within 48 hours of receiving the patterns you need to have opened every one of them in the CQ software and verified them. This means making sure that a repeating pattern actually repeats, and that if there is a Fixed Index that the pattern doesn't overlap, etc. This will also involve checking the comments to see if you need to stagger the pattern, etc. You need to report any problem at this point so we can correct them. In general you won't find any, but there is always a first time!
2. Within 5 days you need to have sewn out at least 50% of the patterns. Sewing them ALL out and verifying that they all work nicely will earn you EXTRA patterns for free. We may specify ones we think are "touchy" and ask you to include those in your sew outs. Using a digitial camera, you need to very quickly take snapshots of these and e-mail them to me as JPGs.
If you do have problems, you might want to actually call me as soon as the pattern is done sewing! Generally we have found SOME problems are due to sewing out too fast or having your overall thread tension too tight! These things help us ADD to the comments that are included with the pattern files.
