So many people are asking the status of projects we are working on that we've decided to bring everyone up-to-date about them here.

APQS Bliss System...

We will have the CompuQuilter prototype installed on a Bliss Table in the APQS Booth and a Hybrid Prototype in the CompuQuilter Booth at Houston Quilt Festival.   Come by and see it!

The APQS Bliss Upgrade System...

This weekend, I am working up the numbers for the cost of the CompuQuilter Bliss Retrofit.  (for those who already have CQ and want the bliss table.)

CompuQuilter for A-1 Horizon System...  $13,500 USD

We can ship a limited few while we wait to get parts in stock.

CompuQuilter for A-1 Horizon Upgrade System... $1,740 USD.  We can reduce this cost to you by $500 purchasing some of the original parts back.

Canadian Quilters Choice attended its first official show with a booth at the Halton Guild Show held at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington Ontario Canada. The booth was super busy  from door opening to door closing. All and all very successful  show for us, we got a great feel  for the needs of southern Ontario as the show brought in bus loads of people from all over southern Ontario.  The machines worked flawlessly and we impressed everyone that came to check things out. Thanks to Stan DeeDee, Butch and Eddy for all their work in getting things together on such short notice. Sure gives us a great feeling knowing we have this kind of support behind us as we move forward.

What do I have to do to get the last two updates?

Thank You,

Julie Mowery

Life is so interesting.  I find that whenever things seem to be moving along on an even keel, something is sure to come along and knock us out of our comfort zone.  I actually don't think I'd want it any other way.

Hi folks.  I spend most of my life beta testing software and writing the manuals so I rarely have time to make a quilt.  But that's what I'm doing this week.  While doing that, my mind began to wander.  I know, some of you thought I didn't have a mind or that I had lost it.

One of the best things about this job is getting to meet so many wonderful people.  I wish each of you could meet all the others so you'd be as blessed as I am.  I can't arrange that but perhaps we could take a step in the right direction by posting a little about ourselves.

Each time we try to get something going like this, we have very poor response.  Stan mentioned one time that the reason other groups seem to be so active is that they are having problems or waiting for their broken system to be repaired.  The feedback we get from our people is that they are busy quilting.  Okay, I know time is money but you must take a break sometime.  How about taking a moment to tell us a little about yourself?

To the right of the screen under My Profile, there is a blog section under your name at the center of the page.  This is not the word blog under navigation at the right of the page.  I'll be honest, I didn't know it was there.  We hired a professional web designer to build our website and there are lots of things we aren't real happy about.  Butch is working on improving it as he gets time.  This may be one of those things.  Surely it can't be MY fault I didn't see it?!  Anyway, click on that button and tell us a little.  I'll start and you can simply copy my format or come up with your own.
