Stan is a native of Northwest Arkansas and a born tinkerer – as a child he was always building something out of scrap materials, and as a teenager he built a fiberglass boat. Before he graduated from high school, he began working for Kennametal, an international company in a high-tech industry. That is where he met his wife, Dee Dee. Stan designed, programmed and built computer-controlled machines during his 37 years with Kennametal. He was also a member of the Arkansas National Guard for 25 years, where he was a member of the competitive rifle-shooting team. Stan enjoys golfing, photography, bowling, pool, darts and traveling and his grandchildren. He is restoring his collector’s motorcycle and likes to ride his Harley Davidson when time allows.
